Kathleen Diallo

 

GALLUP — Funeral services for Kathleen Mae Diallo, 48, will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 22, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. Brother Gardener will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery.

Diallo died April 13, 2011, in Gallup. She was born April 18, 1963, in Gallup, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Zuni People Clan.

Survivors include her son, Malcolm Nez of Klagetoh; parents, Mary and Wilbert Johnson of Superman Canyon; brothers, Kenneth Johnson, Steven Johnson, both of Superman Canyon; sisters, Linda Begay, Betty Johnson, Lorraine Johnson, Cecelia Johnson, all of Superman Canyon.

Diallo was preceded in death by her daughters, Jolene Cook, Zarinah Diallo; husband, Algassimoo Diallo; sisters, Esther Willie, Etta Johnson; brothers, Harrison Johnson, Bennie Begay Jr.

The family will receive relatives and friends at 107 E. Jefferson St., following services.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Clyde Hinkley

GALLUP — Services are pending for Clyde J. Hinkley, 69.

Hinkley died Sunday, April 17, 2011, in Gallup. He was born July 26, 1941, in Sacramento, Calif.
Viewing will be 2-4 p.m., Friday, April 22, at Rollie Mortuary.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Gabriel Scott

RABBIT BRUSH — Funeral services for Gabriel David Scott, 35, will be 10 a.m., April 22, at Good Shepherd Mission, Fort Defiance. The Rev. Felix Vecchiarelli will officiate. Burial will be in Rabbit Brush.

Scott died April 17, 2011, in Sawmill. He was born Sept. 28, 1975, in Fort Defiance, into the Big Water People Clan for the Red Running Into The Water People Clan.

Scott graduated from Window Rock High School and attended Scottsdale Community College. He was self-employed as an auto mechanic former asst. manger for Auto Zone in Tempe. He participated in Walking The Healing Path to Denver, Colo. Scott was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish and go hiking and camping.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Scott of Navajo; parents, Darlene Miles, Edison Scott, both of Fort Defiance; brothers, Joaquin Scott, Jalen Scott, both of St. Michaels; sisters, Samantha Scott, Erin Miles, both of Fort Defiance, Feather Scott, Mikayla Scott, both of St. Michaels.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, General and Dora Miles; brother, Leigh Scott.
Pallbearers will be James Wauneka, Matthew Sheka, Allison Etsitty, Arnold Barney, Robert Belone, Abe Wilson.

Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
